Well the sun was out for my last day in PEI
and I head off first thing tomorrow to BC. I thought I would complete my
account by adding a few pictures taken from the PEI web site just to show
you what the island looks like in Summer.

Anne of Green Gables and the Confederation
Bridge

Clinton on left and Cumberland on right

Dalvey and Fort Amherst

Hunter River and the School Bus with the Stop
sign!

Seawinds Restaurant and Magdalens Islands
Ferry
I had a final couple of
meetings in the morning and then it was back to Chris's house to get all
my web stuff updated and to gather all the stuff I got on my trip to see
if it would all fit in my case :-)
I'm also looking forward to
receiving a lot of historical material over the weeks ahead from all the
new friends I made on Prince Edward Island.
And finally would just like
to say that despite all the snow I had a wonderful time on PEI. The folk
were warm and hospitable and it made my stay a very pleasant one for sure.
I'd certainly recommend a trip here and if you happen to be passing on 1st
May I'm told that is the very best time to eat the famous island lobster
:-) |
