As you'll likely know I'm staying with Cam Stuart and today I found out that his family ran a shoe business making orthaepidic shoes for both children and adults. The business was founded by his grandfather back in 1910. He kindly let me photograph a few pages from a binder he has...


It was while talking with his friend Billy that the shoe business came up and that's Billy on the left and the headed notepaper on the right with the wee Scotty Dog :-)

And that's Cam on the far right... he's got Ginger hair! :-)


On the left you can read the rather interesting humour that abounded at the time and on the right is from left is Dr. Radford who provided the origional founding and was also the Mayor of Galt. The Andrew Melvin Stuart which was Cam's grandfather and on the right is Andrew Hargrave Stuart, Cam's father
