The Regalia worn by dancers, often reflects the clan to which the dancer belongs.(eg Bear Clan, Wolf, Hummingbird, Butterfly, Eagle, etc)

Some of the different types of dancers, differentiated by their Regalia are called, Fancy Dancers, Shawl Dancers, Jingle Dancers, Grass Dancers, Hoop Dancers etc
