Today we headed out to the Georgetown Highland Games... Barb Stuart kindly took me to the games where we met lots of great people and altogether had a great time and here are the pictures I took of the event...

And hey... there is Trudie of the Scottish Studies department!

Also met Clan MacKenzie right next door

And isn't this a bonny shot :-)

Always great fun to meet new folk at the games

Lots of Clan Tents to visit

This blanket hanging at the back of the tent was created by clan members... a real labour of love!

Well someone has to do the cleaning up!

There were an amazing number of Highland dancers with their own tented village

And here is David Hunter with Jeanne Isley, the artist

Lots of vendors and lots of food

The caber toss was under way

And how is this for a T-Shirt!!!!

And that was the Highland Games at Georgetown, Ontario

On the way back we did a wee detour to take some other interesting pictures

And how is this for a scarecrow?

And here is Barb feeling guilty about not having bread to feed the ducks! :-)

And when we got back and picked up Cam we headed for MacDouglall's for a bite to eat

And after we took a wee walk down town and I got some more interesting shots

And that was us back home after a great afternoon and evening out
