The first step is always to spray the special
glass mixture onto the mugs as it's the glass micture that will melt into
the metal to give the permanent engraving...
You can see that due to this special mixture
Billy needs to wear special gloves and a face mask
It's then back to the laser where a sepcial
holder is placed in the laser and Billy goes through a whole series of
tests to ensure the engraving will be done correctly. This also involved a
special pass with a low red light so he can eyeball that the cut will go
on the correct place on the mug
Computer is interfaced with the laser
And there you have the finished product which
is then washed and the final step is to dry and polish it for presentation |
