Clearly living in the 21st century is too much for members of
certain groups. They do not appreciate the necessity of
transportation, heating products, water purification, jobs, the
economy and the basis on which Canada was built: law, order and good
government. (Admittedly, good government has been lacking recently
in the face of those protesting for the return of the stone age).
Perhaps the best solution is to allow such people to return to a
world where medicine men replace hospitals and 21st century
medicine. A land where bows, arrows, bone fishing hooks, dog sleds
and harpoons replace snowmobiles, tractors and year-round
strawberries. And, best of all, storytellers around the fire remove
all necessity for teachers, book learning, schools and universities.
Its simple. Each Hereditary Chief can determine whether their lands
will enjoy the lifestyle of their distant forebears or they will
accept the rights AND responsibilities of the 21stcentury. Once
determined, fences can delineate the century chosen and no further
contamination by our ways and needs will be permitted in or out.
Should make everyone happy. |
