Chinese EVs & Sweden's Jets Are Coming to Canada as Carney Further ISOLATES Trump - Nov 15

In today’s breaking episode of Canada Today, we dive deep into the explosive developments unfolding this week:

Canada is now considering Saab Gripen jets instead of U.S.-made F-35s, and China has restored Canada to its approved travel list after Prime Minister Mark Carney’s breakthrough meeting with President Xi Jinping. These two shifts represent the strongest move yet toward a fully independent Canadian policy — free from U.S. pressure and Trump’s unpredictable politics.

The Saab offer could create up to 10,000 Canadian jobs, build a new aerospace industry, and end decades of reliance on American military hardware. Meanwhile, China’s warming relationship with Canada could lead to the removal of canola tariffs and potentially open Canada’s doors to Chinese EVs, a move that would disrupt U.S. automakers and reduce our historic dependency on American car brands.

This is the geopolitical reset Carney has been pushing for since day one — diversification, sovereignty, and a Canada that acts confidently on the world stage. Trump tried to isolate Canada, but instead he pushed us toward new alliances, new industries, and new global strength.

In this video, we break down what this means for Canadian defence, the economy, EV markets, global alliances, and why this moment marks a turning point in Canada’s modern history.

U.S. Aluminum SHUTS DOWN — Canada Just Ended Trump’s Plan! - Nov 27

What happens when a 50% tariff meant to “protect American jobs” triggers the total collapse of the U.S. aluminum market?

In today’s explosive analysis, we break down how Trump’s aluminum plan backfired in real time, why U.S. reserves fell to absolute zero, and how Canada quietly checkmated the United States by redirecting its entire metal supply toward Europe.

This isn’t just an economic story — it’s a global power shift.

For the first time ever, Canada’s aluminum giants walked away from the U.S. market, suppliers added massive risk charges, and the Midwest premium hit record highs. Meanwhile, Europe stepped in, taking the aluminum that once fueled American factories — and now the U.S. is paying the highest prices on the planet.

Has Canada Picked the Wrong Jet? The KF-21 Boramae Explained - Nov 26

This video breaks down the KF-21 Boramae, South Korea’s next-generation multirole fighter jet, and asks the question many defence analysts are now raising. Is the KF-21 actually a better fit for Canada than the F-35 Lightning II from Lockheed Martin or the Gripen from Saab Gripen?

In this deep-dive analysis, we look at Canadian defence realities such as NORAD operations, Arctic sovereignty, long-range patrol requirements, cold-weather performance, twin-engine safety and Canada’s enormous airspace. We compare the KF-21 Boramae’s design philosophy, engines, avionics, range, radar cross-section shaping and cost per flight hour to the fighters Canada considered and the fighter Canada ultimately selected.

We explore why the KF-21 looks similar to fifth-generation designs, how South Korea developed the aircraft, and what the aerodynamic influence from American fighter-development programs reveals. We also look at maintenance requirements, industrial partnerships, Canadian procurement constraints, and the real-world missions RCAF pilots actually fly every day.

If you are interested in Canadian defence policy, fighter jet procurement, military aviation, geopolitics, Arctic security, or the debate about whether the F-35 is the right aircraft for Canada, this video gives you the full context.

My new cleaning lady came today (Friday at 12:00) and arrived on time as she's done the last 2 times she's come so reliability has been restored. She's proved to be the best I've had to date as for example she turned the mattress on my bed and washed the bathroom curtains.  Never had that done before.

She was also telling me that she's gearing up for Christmas as she apparently feeds some people over that period that are on their own and need some help.  She has an extended family with sons and apparently also has several grandkids so busy time for her.

NEW POLL: Carney Now Canada’s MOST POPULAR Prime Minister Ever - Nov 28

New national polling has confirmed what many Canadians have been feeling for months: Mark Carney is not just leading Pierre Poilievre — he is pulling away. While Poilievre’s support remains flat and unchanged, Carney is widening his advantage as Canada’s preferred Prime Minister, especially following the federal budget. Voters across the country are rewarding his calm, credible, and disciplined leadership during a time of economic uncertainty and global instability.

Canadians have seen Carney deliver real results: a historic partnership with Alberta, a new privately funded pipeline plan with Indigenous partners, $70 billion in foreign investment from the UAE, major policy shifts to protect steel and lumber workers, and a trillion-dollar national growth vision. As Poilievre continues to rely on anger and slogans, Canadians are choosing substance over spectacle — and today’s polling reflects that shift clearly.

In this video, we break down why Carney’s lead is growing, why Poilievre is failing to expand beyond his base, and what this new political landscape means for the future of Canada. Canadians are choosing unity, competence, and experience — and Carney’s rising numbers show the country is ready for steady leadership.

In this video, we break down how Carney’s steel rejection shattered America’s supply chain, why Canadian clean-steel is now dominating global markets, and how Trump’s tariff gamble backfired in real time. From soaring steel prices to factory shutdowns and the dramatic shift of exports toward Europe and Asia, this story exposes the hidden economic war unfolding across the U.S.–Canada border.

Carney & Diana Make 62-Year-Old Australian PM’s Wedding Day Extra Special - Nov 29

The intimate ceremony was attended by close family, friends, and colleagues in a warm, emotional celebration that captured hearts across the country. Their dog Toto serving as the ring bearer added an extra touch of charm to the special day.

Prime Minister Mark Carney and Diana Fox Carney quickly joined global leaders in congratulating the couple, sending a heartfelt message that reflected not only personal warmth but also the strong, longstanding bond between Canada and Australia. The two nations share decades of cooperation and cultural closeness, and the friendly relationship between Carney and Albanese has grown through shared values, calm leadership styles, and mutual respect.

This video takes you through the love story, the significance of the ceremony, the global reactions, and why moments like this remind us of the humanity behind public leadership. Amid negativity and online trolling about age or timing, the day ultimately stood as a reminder that love, companionship, and unity matter more than any criticism. We end with our warmest wishes to the newly married couple — and an appreciation for the rare joy this story brings to the political world.

Canada has just pulled off one of the biggest Arctic power plays in years — and Washington never saw it coming.
