My Canadian Experience
Report for September 2021

An overview of the Canadian Elections.
A good overview is available on YouTube. There is in effect no change as the Liberals are still the minority government.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. September 30, 2021 marks the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The day honours the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.

The creation of this federal statutory holiday was through legislative amendments made by Parliament. On June 3, 2021, Bill C-5, An Act to amend the Bills of Exchange Act, the Interpretation Act and the Canada Labour Code (National Day for Truth and Reconciliation) received Royal Assent.

A good overall account of this day can be found at:

Every Child Matters: Truth - Act One

COVID
It's very clear that non vaccinated people are by far the largest group that are getting this virus and dying from it.  Part of the problem is the poor communication by our Politicians.

Despite this there are many protests which are just spreading this virus further. The Western Provinces seem to be hardest hit at time of writing this.
